(a) - (b) Please refer to Tabled Paper xxxx. A copy of the Building Condition Assessment report for each listed school is attached. These reports give the estimated value of outstanding maintenance required at each school as at the date of inspection. (c) - (d) The Department of Education's maintenance program is ongoing. Maintenance funding is primarily focussed on reactive and routine maintenance, and not allocated on a school-by-school basis. Reactive maintenance (breakdown repairs) is reported by schools to a call centre and addressed on a priority basis. Routine maintenance, which includes works such as fire breaks, gutter cleaning, residual current device testing and tagging of electrical equipment is undertaken as required by statute or regulation. The 2014-15 maintenance program will be finalised later this year.
