920. Hon ADELE FARINA to the Leader of the
House representing the Minister for Training and Workforce Development:
(1) Has any evaluation of the South
West Workforce Development Plan been undertaken?
(2) If yes to (1), will the minister
table the evaluation reports; and, if no, why not?
(3) If no to (l) —
(a) when will evaluation of the plan
take place; and
(b) will the evaluation report be
made public?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of this question.
(1) No.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The South
West Workforce Development Alliance, which comprises key industry, community
and government stakeholders from the region, is overseeing the implementation
of the South West Workforce Development Plan. All of the 33 priority actions
contained within the plan are either in progress or implemented. The alliance
regularly reviews the implementation of the plan at its meetings, including
ensuring that any changes in regional economic and labour market conditions are
identified and the plan continues to complement other relevant regional
planning documents.
