CHILDREN IN CARE - CASEWORKERS
I refer to the 84 children - wards of the state - in the care of the Chief Executive Officer of the Department for Community Development, who were mentioned in the Ford Review as having been in seven different homes in three years. (1) Does each of these children now have a caseworker? (2) How many of these children did not have caseworkers assigned to them before December 2006? (3) Has the department given them priority for psychological services? (4) Will the minister provide a breakdown of where these children presently reside; for example, how many are in residential care and how many are in the general foster care system or relative care? (5) What is the age of the youngest child who has been placed in seven different placements? (6) How many of these children are Aboriginal? Hon SUE ELLERY
