I refer to the Commissioner for Children and Young People. (1) Will the Attorney General confirm that - (i) an executive officer for the children’s commissioner has been appointed; (ii) office space has been leased to accommodate the children’s commissioner; and (iii) a recommendation for the appointment of a children’s commissioner has been received? (2) When will the Attorney General announce the name of the children’s commissioner, and when will that person begin working? (3) Will the Attorney General confirm - (i) which sections of the Commissioner for Children and Young People Act 2006 have not been proclaimed; (ii) when it is intended that these sections will be proclaimed; and (iii) why some sections have been proclaimed and yet others have not?
