I refer to recommendation eight of report 12, of the Standing Committee on Estimates and Financial Operations into the Balga Works Program, where it stated, ‘The Committee recommends that the Government ensure that a detailed investigation be undertaken by the appropriate authorities into the role and activities of the Balga Senior High School Parent and Citizens Association Inc in relation to the Balga Works Program’, and ask -
(1) Have you instructed the Department of Education and Training to investigate the role and activities of the Balga Senior High School Parent and Citizens Association Inc in relation to the Balga Works Program?
(2) If no to (1), why not given that as a committee member you supported this recommendation and now as the Minister you have the power to implement it?
(3) If yes to (1), have you received the investigation findings?
(4) Will you table them in this place at the next day’s sitting?
(5) If no to (4), why not?
