representing the Minister for Water:
(1) Is the
minister aware of rumours that the Water Corporation is preparing to sell land
adjacent to Wanneroo Secondary College?
(2) Can the minister advise whether
the rumour is correct?
(3) When does the Water Corporation
expect to sell the land?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. On behalf of the Minister for Water, the answer is
as follows —
(1) The Water
Corporation has a surplus water treatment plant site at Lot 8654, High Rd,
Wanneroo, which is currently being decommissioned.
(2) The Water
Corporation disposes of surplus assets as appropriate.
(3) There is
currently no time frame set for the sale of this land.
