The statistics provided relate to crime scene fingerprints inputted to National Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NAFIS). Between 2007 and 2011, information is only available by calendar year. These figures do not include all crime scene latent or photographic images which may have been taken and not uploaded into NAFIS as this data is not held.
