(a)(i-vi) Data was generated on 4 November 2014 and to that time clinical coding of the data was complete to 31 July 2014. Figures represent the number of separations (discharges) - one person may have multiple separations in the same calendar year.
Please note that the geographic location of a road accident cannot be identified using Department of Health data collections. Consequently the responses that follow include data on all accidents where the patient was transported to Bunbury Regional Hospital and not those specifically occurring in the South West region. These figures do not include patients who were transported to Bunbury Regional Hospital but not admitted to Bunbury.

As the geographic location of a road accident cannot be identified using Department of Health data collections, it is not possible to determine how many people were transported by ambulance, helicopter or the RFDS directly to a Perth metropolitan hospital following a road accident in the South West region.
