I refer to the Department of Health's response to my questions asked during budget estimates hearings, where it was revealed that guidance is available for clinicians on the management of foetal remains following an abortion procedure, and I ask: (a) will you table this guidance; (b) are foetal remains, following an abortion, ever used for research purposes; (c) if yes to (b), in what circumstances; and (d) if yes to (b), for what type of research?

a) The Abortion Care Clinical Guidelines provides clinical guidance to ensure consistency across WA, in line with legislation including the Cemeteries Act 1986 and the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1998 and the Public Health Act 2016 .
