(1) I refer to the State Government’s Voluntary Targeted Separation Scheme (VTSS), and I ask? (2) What is the current status of the VTSS? (3) What is the total number of separations made to date? (4) Please list position titles, a brief job description and salary level for each former employee, broken down by agency, that has accepted a separation under the VTSS in (3)? (5) Please provide associated payout costs for each of these separations? (6) Since the separations have occurred, please list new positions created in each agency, including the position titles? (7) When did advertising for each of the positions in (6) commence?

(2) A total of 2,556 separations (85%) of the 3,000 target for the VTSS have been achieved to date and with a further 390 separations expected as a result of the transition to the Commonwealth-run National Disability Insurance Scheme. The VTSS is on track to deliver 2,946 separations or 98% of the original target by 30 June 2022.
The VTSS program is projected to achieve a net saving of $527 million over the period 2017-18 to 2022-23 to net debt.

The provision of a brief job description for each position is beyond the scope of the information held by the Department of Treasury or the Public Sector Commission systems and would need to be directed to each agency through their relevant Ministers.
