I refer to the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services (OICS) Report into an Announced Inspection of the West Kimberley Regional Prison (2017), noting that 'there is one counselling position vacant', and ask: (a) has this position at the Prison been filled; (b) if yes to (a) on what date did counsellor commence employment and what is the nature of their engagement (i.e. part time, full time, contract etc.); and (c) if no to (a) why not?

(b) Not applicable.
(c) The vacant position is yet to be recruited. In the meantime, the prison counselling function is provided by another Psychologist that is permanently based at West Kimberley Regional Prison.
