909. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the minister representing the Minister for
Early Childhood Education:
I refer to the answer provided to
question without notice 863, asked on 14 August 2024, regarding the Culturally
and Linguistically Diverse Early Years Link program—CaLDEYLink—at
Maylands Peninsula Primary and Bentley Primary Schools.
(1) What is the total funding
allocated to the CaLDEYLink program in 2024?
(2) Will the
minister provide a breakdown of the funding allocation referred to in (1),
which includes how much funding each school receives to run the program?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following response has been provided by the
Minister for Early Childhood Education. I note that the response was correct as
at 14 August.
The Department of Education advises
as follows.
(1) The total
funding allocated to the CaLDEYLink program in 2024 is $263 855, which includes
school and central expenditures.
(2) (i) The
funding to Maylands Peninsula Primary School is salary, $58 500, and cash, $1 500;
and
(ii) the funding
to Bentley Primary School is salary, $58 500 and cash, $1 500.
