(a) Records indicate that Cottesloe Police Station was constructed in 1970.
(b) The Western Australia (WA) Police have adopted a new service delivery model for the Perth Metropolitan area. One of the core principles of the model is to have fewer and larger police stations. This is reflected in their proposal to construct a new Western Suburbs Hub to service the Subiaco, Wembley, Cottesloe and Claremont police sub districts. The construction of a Western Suburbs Hub would be likely to result in the closure of Cottesloe Police Station. The construction of a Western Suburb Hub is a high priority on the WA Police's Unfunded 10 Year Capital Investment Plan.
(c) Refer to the answer to question (b).
(d) Currently only routine building maintenance and minor works are undertaken.
(e) This work is ongoing.
(f) Refer to the answer to question (b).
