POWER POLE INSPECTION PROGRAM
903. Hon PETER COLLIER to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Energy:
I appreciate that the minister is
not here this week, but I will ask the question and ideally get a response on
Tuesday.
I refer to the private
point-of-attachment pole inspection program that commenced in October 2021.
(1) How many residences have been
inspected as a result of this program?
(2) How many owners of the inspected residences have
been issued with a private power pole defect notice?
(3) Are those
owners of the residences who have been issued with a defect notice liable for
the costs associated with rectifying the defect; and, if yes, why?

I have no answers to questions this
week. As members have been notified, the minister is unwell and unable to
answer questions. All questions will be answered next week.
