INVESTMENT PROGRAM
1285. Hon COLIN HOLT to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Culture and the Arts:
I refer to recently announced
funding through the Arts Organisations Investment Program.
(1) Can the
minister please list the successful grant recipients and the amount of funding
each organisation received?
(2) Can the
minister please provide the submissions, or a web address of where to view the
submissions, for the successful grant recipients?
(3) Can the
minister please list all the unsuccessful grant recipients and the requested
amount of funding?
(4) What other
state government funding opportunities are available for operational grants to
assist arts and culture organisations?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) The
Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries is currently in
contract discussions with successful grant recipient organisations; therefore,
it is not possible to provide funding breakdowns and other details at this
stage. I table the other information requested.
[See paper 3350.]
(4) The
department provides opportunities for organisations to apply for funding of up
to $60 000 for project or program activities funding through the category
sector initiatives in the Arts $15K-plus grant program. This grant program is
open for applications three times per year.
