I refer to the Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia, and I ask: (a) Does the Government provide any resources or funding to the Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia; (b) If yes to (a) what are the resources provided and what is the cost of the resources; (c) Does the Minister, Government or the Governor appoint the Chair or any members to the Council; (d) If yes to (c) which members have been appointed by the Minister, Government or the Governor; (e) Who is responsible for setting the remuneration of the members of the Council and for paying the remuneration; and (f) What is the level of remuneration for the Chair?

(a) Yes
(b) The Department of Transport currently provides $200,000 in funding per annum to the Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia. The Executive Officer of the Council is a Main Roads WA employee who is temporarily seconded to the Council, but continues to be paid by Main Roads WA.
(c)-(d) This information is publicly available on the Freight and Logistics Council of WA website.
(e) Only the Chair of the Council received remuneration. Members of the Council are not remunerated.
(f) Of the $200,000 funding allocation, the Chair is to receive a maximum amount of $30,000 per annum, plus expenses approved by the Board.
