The Department of Housing and Works advises
(1) There were 3,037 applications on the waiting list and 100 applications on the priority waiting list for the North Central preference area which comprises 57 suburbs (more suburbs than those listed). Public housing applicants are listed by preference areas not individual suburbs.
(2) There were 2,642 applications on the waiting list and 87 applications on the priority waiting list for the North Central preference area which comprises 57 suburbs (more suburbs than those listed). Public housing applicants are listed by preference areas not individual suburbs.
(3) The average waiting time is 92 weeks for the waiting list and 30 weeks for the priority waiting list for the North Central preference area which comprises 57 suburbs (more suburbs than those listed).
