Regarding Freedom of Information document Item No. 26 provided to me under cover of the Minister's letter, dated 21 May 2012, I ask —
(1) Have the negotiations for the proposed new investment the Minister described as 'the largest single project in the native forest sector for at least 30 years' using jarrah and karri for a product not disclosed, by an investor not disclosed, been concluded?
(2) If yes to (1), will the Minister now please provide full details of the investment including but not limited to —
(a) the name of the investor;
(b) the product;
(c) the quantity and grade of native forest product required to produce the product;
(d) the terms and amount of any Investment Security Guarantee that applies to the investment; and
(e) any new plantations to be established?
(3) If no to any of (2), why not?
(4) If no to (1) —
(a) when are negotiations expected to be concluded;
(b) when this occurs, if the investment is to go ahead in any form, will the Minister table or otherwise make public full details including those listed in (2) above; and
(c) if no to (4)(b), why not?
