I refer to funding for South West schools, and I ask: (a) for each school in the South West, when the total funding provided to that school is divided by the number of enrolled students, how much funding was provided per student in 2015; and (b) for each school in the South West, when the total funding provided to that school is divided by the number of enrolled students, how much funding is anticipated to be provided per student in 2016?

a. Refer to tabled paper.
b. Schools have been given the prices for 2016 and the tools that will automatically calculate their budgets when student enrolments for 2016 are entered and adjusted.
For 2016, there has been a 2.56% increase for the per-student funding rates, enrolment-linked base allocation and locality allocation and a 2.5% increase for student characteristic allocations.
Principals will continue to update student enrolment information in the system as parents make decisions about their child's schooling until the start of 2016. 2016 school budgets will be provided to schools following confirmation of student census data in March 2016.
