(1) No. The sawmill and all sawmilling equipment are the property of Gunns Ltd. Gunns Ltd is required to decommission and rehabilitate the site, which is located on approximately 19 hectares of State forest and which has been leased for the purpose of sawmilling since 1966.
(2) Gunns Ltd has sold its other sawmilling interests in Western Australia and has informed the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) that the sale included some of its equipment from the Collie sawmill site.
