(b)(i) The Authority was formed on 1 January 2004 amalgamating the economic regulatory functions of three former regulatory regimes. The existing website reflects the identity of the previous regimes and it is necessary for the Authority to redevelop its website to reflect the identity of the new agency. (ii) Yet to be tendered. GESB (a) Improvements are planned to be undertaken to GESB's website during the course of the financial year. (b)(i) To enhance member access to GESB's services and improve GESB's overall efficiency and effectiveness in communicating with members. (ii) The estimated total cost of the initiative is $65,000. Gold Corporation (a) Yes. (b)(i) The current design and functionality is out of date and diminishing in effectiveness. The upgrade is expected to improve substantially the performance and profitability of this channel. The website is not static, but a fully transactional e-commerce enabled sales and marketing channel with a positive profit contribution. (b)(ii) The approximate cost will be $150,000. Insurance Commission (a) Yes. (b) (i) To make the Insurance Commission of Western Australia website compliant with State Government website guidelines, more user friendly and utilise e-commerce opportunities.
