I thank the honourable member - or should I say the Deputy Leader of the Opposition - for some notice of this question. (1) The amounts quoted are allocations from state funds only and comprise amounts from the consolidated fund, the holding account, the road trauma trust fund and Main Roads’ operating receipts. (2) The equivalent figures for metropolitan roads are $171.8 million in 2001-02, $159.8 million in 2002-03 and $199.3 million in 2003-04 - the funds sources for which are as in answer (1).
