(1) Will the Minister advise if there has been any thought put into providing some sort of incentive to residents who install water tanks to their homes?
(2) Is the Minister aware that a 1500 litre under eaves tank costs $550 including $50 GST?
(3) Will the State Government consider giving a rebate in the annual rates which would encourage more residents to install tanks and save large amounts of water?

(2) Yes. (3) In developing its response to the draft Water Conservation Strategy, the Government is considering a wide range of possible water saving initiatives. The Government's Water Strategy, which will incorporate its response to the draft Water Conservation Strategy and the Premier's Water Symposium held in October 2002, is expected to be released in early 2003.
