I refer to the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services Report No. 110: Report of an Announced Inspection of Casuarina Prison tabled 22 August 2017, and ask: (a) do are remand and sentenced prisoners routinely mix and share the same cells: (i) if yes, given this does not meet international standards, why does the Department of Corrective Services continue to undertake this practice?
