(a) The Department of Environmental Protection has two premises covered by the Kalgoorlie regional office that are licensed as Category 7 premises: Vat or ‘in-situ’ leaching of Metal. I am advised that at both of these operations, the ponds are PVC or HDPE plastic lined. There is one property in the area covered by the Geraldton office licensed under this category, but it does not treat gold.
(b) The two premises are: Holleton North End Deposit Mining Centre, located at mining lease ML77/898, 75 km east of Narembeen; and Coolgardie Battery located at Battery Road, Coolgardie.
(2) Not applicable.
