I refer to the Premier's media release “Bus fleet goes electric with $125 million State investment”
of April 23, 2023 and the statement that: "Importantly, we will build
these busses right here in Western Australia - creating local manufacturing
jobs and supporting local businesses.”, and I ask:
(a) What
percentage of the entire build for each bus will be completed in Western
Australia;
(b) Is there a
minimum percentage of manufacture that must be completed in Western Australia for
the McGowan Government to claim manufacturing in Western Australia; and
(c) If yes to (b)
what is that percentage?
