I refer to sick leave taken by the Minister and their Ministerial staff in the last 12 months beginning 24 July 2023, and I ask: (a) Has the Minister or any of their Ministerial staff member taken any
sick leave in the prescribed period of time: (i) if yes, please provide the exact total number of days of sick leave taken by the Minister and any of their Ministerial staff members during the prescribed time period; (ii) Has the Minister or any of their Ministerial staff members taken sick leave more than once in the prescribed period of time; and (iii) if yes, please provide a breakdown by date of each individual period of time the Minister and/or a Ministerial staff member took sick leave?

(a) Ministers do not have entitlements for leave, including sick leave. The Public Sector CSA Agreement 2022 , which is applicable to public sector employees including ministerial staff, does not provide for sick leave.
