I refer to each agency, department and government-trading enterprise within the Deputy Premier’s portfolio of responsibilities, and I ask: (a) does the agency, department or government-trading enterprise use media monitoring services other than those provided by the government Media Monitoring Unit; (b) if yes to (a), which company provides the media monitoring service and what was the cost of this service in 2013–2014; (c) if yes to (a), noting that media monitoring services provide exact word and phrase monitoring, as at July 1 2013 what words, names, phrases or abbreviations were being requested for monitoring; (d) if yes to (a), what words, names, phrases or abbreviation have been added to the monitoring list since July 1 2013; and (e) if yes to (a), for each word, name, phrase and abbreviation noted in (c) and (d): (i) on what date was it added to the monitoring list; and (ii) if it is no longer on the monitoring list, on what date was it removed from the monitoring list?

(a) Healthway does not use any media monitoring on a regular basis, other than the service provided by the government Media Monitoring Unit. On infrequent occasions Healthway has purchased the transcripts of radio interviews from an external provider.
(b) Healthway purchased interview transcripts from iSentia during the 2013-14 financial year at a total cost of $886.50.
(c-e) Not applicable as Healthway did not purchase a media monitoring service.
