The Department of Housing advises:
(1) 15
(2) There are 10 applications awaiting accommodation in Laverton, none of which are priority applications.
(3) Nil
(4) 2008 - Nil
2009 - one.
2010 - Nil
2011 - Nil
2012 - four.
(5) One property is vacant and awaiting maintenance before being re-tenanted.
(a) Since 29 August 2012.
(6) There are 43 people living in public housing in Laverton; of those, 19 people have identified themselves as Aboriginal.
(7) As at 24 September 2012, there are 30 GROH dwellings (27 owned and three privately leased).

2012 - four, to allow for future redevelopment on the lots
(10) Five.
(a) Four of these properties had been listed for sale and were vacant for between six and 18 months. However, due to the demand for additional social housing, they are being re-allocated to public housing tenants. The properties are undergoing maintenance to restore them to a suitable standard for occupation. The fifth property will be allocated to a GROH tenant.
(11) GROH properties are allocated to State Government agencies and they decide which of their employees will occupy specific dwellings. This question should be redirected to those agencies as the Department does not have knowledge of the ethnic origin of these employees.
