Nightclub licenses all carry the condition that crown controllers must be licensed under the
Securities and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996.
The onus is placed on the licensee to ensure compliance with all conditions.
While the Department employs a number of inspectors to monitor licensed premises, primary responsibility for enforcing license conditions and compliance with the
Securities and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996
rests with the WA Police.
