(1) Applicants must nominate a zone in which they wish to reside. Metropolitan zones are made up of a number of suburbs. Thornlie and Langford fall within the Thornlie zone, which also includes the subsurbs of Beckenham, Canning Vale, Kenwick and Maddington. Ferndale and Lynwood are within the Cannington zone, which also includes the suburbs of Queens Park, Riverton, Rossmoyne, Shelley, Welshpool, Willetton and Wilson.
