I understand that a commitment was given by the Water Corporation in October 2003 to consider the services of View Consulting Pty Ltd in the design of an Aboriginal employment strategy. I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. The Water Corporation advises that no commitment was given by the Water Corporation to View Consulting Pty Ltd in October 2003. Meetings between the Water Corporation and View Consulting Pty Ltd have been ongoing and delays were experienced while View attempted to secure structural training and employment program funding. Discussions on contractual arrangements are continuing with View.
