I refer to Building and Energy that Building Remedy Order O2024-18 of the 15 October 2024 that ordered rectification of construction at 30 Hampton Street Bridgetown, and I ask: (a) have the required rectification actions been taken; (b) if no to (a) what action has the Department of Industry Regulation and Safety taken to ensure they are taken; (c) has the Building Commissioner revoked the building remedy order and replaced it with a payment order for the respondent
to pay the complainant the reasonable costs of having the building service as described
in the order remedied by others; (d) if no to (c) why not; (e) has the Building Commissioner utilised the provisions of section 55 of the Act to transfer the matter to the State
Administrative Tribunal for further determination, and if not why not; (f) has the Commissioner decided to take no further action, and if so, why; and (g) if the Building Commission cannot enforce its own decisions, what is the use of it?
