I note the Minister’s media statement of April 14 2004 regarding an agreement between the Water Corporation and the Shire of Management for the use of treated wastewater on the Pemberton recreation centre’s ovals -
(1) How many such arrangements have been finalised between Water Corporation and other organisations for the use of treated wastewater?
(2) What volumes of water, on a per annum basis, are involved in each agreement?
(3) How do the volumes of water contracted for reuse compare with the volumes potentially available from each source?
(4) In each case, what initial and on-going costs are involved in providing infrastructure for such reuse -
(a) to the Water Corporation; and
(b) to the other party in the contract?
(5) What price per litre is charged for such water, or if this information is regarded as commercial in confidence, what is the range of prices?
(6) What factors are taken into account in determining the price per litre?
