I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) The statutory
review is underway and is expected to be completed during the second quarter of
2013. The government has brought forward the statutory review ahead of the
August 2012 date in response to community concerns about the operation of the
act.
(2) A public
consultation paper inviting stakeholders to provide input to the review will be
released in June this year for a consultation period of three months.
(3) The
government is strongly committed to addressing issues impacting long-term
tenants residing at residential parks, and reforms in this area would be a
priority for a next term of government.
