(1) What is the current average wait time
for a caller triaged as "in crisis" from first call to appointment?
(2) What is the current average wait time
for a caller triaged as "not in crisis" from first call to
appointment?

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. The following answer has
been provided by the Minister for Health.
(1) It is two to four weeks; however, the
Sexual Assault Resource Centre's crisis telephone counselling service, which
provides brief counselling support, can be accessed immediately for individuals
who have experienced sexual assault or historical child sexual abuse.
(2) It is 10 to 12 months; however, the
Sexual Assault Resource Centre's crisis telephone counselling service, which
provides brief counselling support, can be accessed immediately for individuals
who have experienced sexual assault or historical child sexual abuse.
