(1) Can the Minister confirm that the proposed Parkerville site has not been endorsed by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC)?
(2) Can the Minister confirm that the WAPC has not committed itself to the subdivision pattern, the densities or uses indicated on the Parkerville site plan?
(3) Can the Minister confirm whether detailed structure plans for the Parkerville site clearly demonstrating the form and nature of the intended urban development, including residential densities, have been provided to the WAPC?
(4) If detailed structure plans have been provided to the WAPC for the Parkerville site, can the Minister confirm that these detailed structure plans and supporting information demonstrate the following -
(a) urbanisation of these areas is a logical extension of the urban development;
(b) environmental issues have been addressed;
(c) there is sufficient infrastructure capacity;
(d) area of land for public uses have been identified and set aside; and
(e) an employment strategy is available to underpin the urban development that generates local employment and achieves Government sustainability outcomes?
(5) Can the Minister confirm the dates of any environmental studies that were performed in relation to the Parkerville site for this proposed project and provided to the WAPC?
(6) Can the Minister confirm that the Parkerville site contains a creek, which runs into the John Forrest National park, which is a water catchment area?
(7) Does the Minister dispute the statement from the planner of the project, Greg Rowe, that the Parkerville site is largely comprised of stone, such that run-off from the development will run into the creek?
(8) Can the Minister advise what, if any, provisions have been made for protection from water run-off, storm water and waster-water disposal for the creek running through the property?

(2) See (1) above (3) In September 2005, the WAPC considered a Local Subdivision and Infrastructure Plan for Parkerville, which indicated a subdivision design and residential densities on the 'Urban Deferred' land. The WAPC resolved in respect of this plan to exclude the 'Urban Deferred' land. No further Local Subdivision and Infrastructure Plans have been received for the 'Urban Deferred' land. (4) The WAPC will consider all issues relevant to the development of the land, consistent with the WAPC guidelines and policies, should a Local Subdivision and Infrastructure Plan come before it for its endorsement. (5) Appended to the Local Subdivision and Infrastructure Plan referred to in (3) above, were the following environmental documents: i) Records of Soil and Hydrology Investigations (November 1996); ii) Rare Flora Survey (August 1996); iii) Fauna Inspection and Assessment of Conservation Issues (September 1996) (6) The site contains watercourses. John Forrest National Park is not reserved for Water Catchment purposes in the Metropolitan Region Scheme. (7) The matter is being considered by the WAPC, not by the Minister. (8) Any proposed subdivision and development of the area will be required to meet the relevant requirements of the Environmental Protection Authority and Department of Water in respect of these matters.
