The minister will be aware that the Local Government Advisory Board requires local authorities to review their electoral boundaries every eight years. Is it correct that the minister has advised the board that he will not approve any council review of electoral boundaries unless the local authority adopts the principle of one vote, one value in its electoral arrangements?
