a)      The first meeting of the Financial Sustainability Taskforce was held on 4 November 2024.
b)      Please see Tabled Paper XXXX
c)      The Financial Sustainability Taskforce is required to report back to the ERC.
d)      The Financial Sustainability Taskforce is chaired by the Director General of WA Health and the membership includes Department of Treasury, three board members representing Health Service Providers and three independent members with substantial public sector experience.
e)      The Financial Sustainability Taskforce has met on five occasions.
f)       No directives have been issued.
g)      The role of the Financial Sustainability Taskforce is about ensuring the delivery of high quality, front-line care, putting patients first. There will be no reduction in frontline services as a result of the Financial Sustainability Taskforce.
Financial sustainability is a key part of the Sustainable Health Review in 2019 and to enable WA Health to  effectively manage emerging cohorts of patients and inflationary pressure to continue to deliver a sustainable health system into the future.
