SPOTLESS - WORKS AND SERVICES
(1) Has the department received any complaints relating to the quality of work performed and the provision of services by the facilities manager Spotless; and, if so, what was the nature of the complaints? (2) What procedure is in place to ensure the facilities manager Spotless carries out its contractual obligations in a competent manner, on time and within budget? (1) The Department of Education and Training has been contacted by schools in relation to the delivery of maintenance services provided by the facilities managers. Those contacts are forwarded to the Department of Housing and Works for action. The department is not aware of any formal complaints regarding the quality of the work for which Spotless is responsible or its service delivery. (2) As the Department of Housing and Works is responsible for the engagement and quality monitoring of the facilities managers used across government agencies, the question has been referred to that department for investigation and, when received, a more detailed response will be provided. (3) The Department of Housing and Works has also been requested to provide information on the value of works and services. Once this is received, it will be provided to the member.
