Department of State Development advises:
(a-b) No officer from the Department of State Development works exclusively on Gorgon Project local content issues. However, the Department has a four person team to facilitate the project, generally, and to monitor its compliance with the Gorgon Joint Venturers' obligations under the Barrow Island Act 2003 and the Gorgon Gas Processing and Infrastructure Project Agreement 2003, which includes a local content obligation.
(c-d) No officer from the Department of State Development works exclusively with the Western Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the Gorgon Project. However, the Department of State Development chairs, and has four staff members on, the Gorgon Local Content Steering Committee, which also has as members representatives from the Department of Commerce. The Committee invites a representative of the Industry Capability Network of Western Australia (ICNWA) to attend local content meetings and works with the Gorgon Joint Venturers and ICNWA to maximise opportunities for local industry participation in the Project.
(e) No.
