(2) (a) Under the chairmanship of the Minister for Tourism, the task force includes representation from the Western Australian Tourism Commission; the Ministry of the Premier and Cabinet; the Ministry for Planning, including transport, planning, and the Department of Land Administration; Treasury; the Government Projects Office; the Ministry for Culture and the Arts; the Ministry of Sport and Recreation; the Department of Contract and Management Services; and the Crown Solicitor’s Office. The Western Australian Tourism Commission is undertaking the roles of project director-executive officer. (b) The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre Taskforce is a committee formed by Cabinet to provide advice to Cabinet. As such, any recommendation or advice is subject to cabinet confidentiality.
