COMPENSATION SCHEME — REVIEW
668. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Attorney General:
I refer to the Department of
Justice's review of the criminal injuries compensation scheme, which
was scheduled for completion by October 2018.
(1) When was the review completed?
(2) Did the Attorney General receive any documents
from the department detailing the outcome of the review?
(3) If yes to (2), will the
Attorney General table those documents?

some notice of the question. I note that this question was asked on 11 June, so
the answer is correct as at that date.
(1)–(2) The
review has been completed by the Department of Justice. The Attorney-General's
office has received a draft report and it has been referred to the State
Solicitor's Office for review.
(3) The final report will be tabled
after the winter recess.
