I refer to the operation of GPS monitoring for repeat and serious domestic violence offenders subject to the Family Violence Legislation Reform Act 2024 and reports that monitoring devices don't function reliably in areas outside of the Perth metropolitan area, and I ask: (a) what technical or procurement issues have prevented the rollout of statewide electronic monitoring comprised under the Act; (b) will the Government commit to publishing a map or report outlining the current GPS coverage limitations for family and domestic violence (FDV) electronic monitoring devices; (c) if no to (b), why; (d) has WA Police requested any amendments to legislation or additional funding to ensure mandatory monitoring can be practically imposed in regional areas; (e) if yes to (d), please table the number of requests for additional funding; and (f) if yes to (d), please table the number of requests for amendments to legislation?
