I refer to my inaugural speech on 14 June 2023, and I ask, in relation to political parties incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (Act): (a) how many have been issued an exemption by the Commissioner under s.23
of the Act, and what are the reasons for those exemptions; (b) what conditions, if any, has the Commissioner attached to the exemptions under s.23(3) of the Act; (c) which, if any, political parties incorporated under the Act applied
for incorporation with the statement that the model rules for
incorporation have been adopted; and (d) how many variations has the Commissioner approved under s.25 of the Act, and what are the nature of those variations?
