To the Minister for Transport, I ask: (a) what is the current full cost of subsidisation of the public transport network in the Perth metropolitan and Peel areas; (b) what is the anticipated cost of subsidisation of the public transport network in the Perth metropolitan and Peel areas upon completion of the Metronet project; (c) what is the total annual income from, and expenses for, the public transport network in the Perth metropolitan and Peel areas; and (d) what is the anticipated total annual income from, and expenses for, the public transport network in the Perth metropolitan and Peel areas upon the completion of the Metronet project?

(a) Refer to Legislative Council Question on Notice 1187.
(b) The METRONET project is still in development and anticipated subsidisation will be determined as the project progresses.
It should be noted that the previous Liberal-National Government did not factor the Forrestfield-Airport Link operating subsidy into any of its previous Budgets or forward estimates.
(c) The member is encouraged to review the Public Transport Authority 2017-18 Annual Report.
(d) The METRONET project is still in development and anticipated income and costs will be determined as the project progresses.
