Definition:
management initiated redundancy or retirement (MIR) is a long-standing Government policy that involves a mutually negotiated agreement between an employer and employee to bring a contract of employment to an end.
Government agencies in the Minister's portfolio advise:
Western Australia Police
(a) Sixteen.
(b)
1 x Assistant Commissioner;
4 x Superintendent (Divisional Officers);
10 x Inspectors (Assistant Divisional Officers, Staff Officer, Senior Investigators and Project Officers); and
1 x Police Staff Level 4 Redeployee
(c) The police officers received payments of between $107,361 and $126,293. The Police Staff member received $24,909. Officers also received payments for accrued leave of between $10,950 and $169,226.
(d) An Assistant Commissioner; 1 x Superintendent and 7 x Inspector positions.
