1) During my recent visit to Tom Price, the Shire of Ashburton provided me with a tour of the townsite, and proudly demonstrated the land developments they are undertaking and expressed no desire for any assistance with the release of light industrial land. I am also informed that no formal approach to have light industrial land close to the local mine site released has been made by the Shire of Ashburton to LandCorp or the Department of Regional Development and Lands.
2) LandCorp's Pilbara Regional Manager and State Land Services Manager Kimberley/Pilbara region are prepared to meet with the Shire of Ashburton and assist them with their land requirements.
