I refer to Transperth policies and procedures with respect to buses moving off from the bus stop prior to passengers, particularly those who are elderly and/or disabled, being seated, and I ask:
(a) what is the policy;
(b) has the Department received legal advice from the State Solicitor on this practice and whether it exposes Transperth to liability;
(c) how many claims for injuries incurred in this manner has Transperth had in the 2009–2010, 2010–2011 and 2011–2012 periods; and
(d) do drivers receive any customer service training and if so does this include issues relating to seniors?
