MINISTER FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
— ENERGY MADE CLEAN
269. Mr D.T. REDMAN to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. Was
the failure by the Minister for Regional Development to disclose her financial
interests to either the Premier or the public in contravention of the Premier's
own ministerial standards?

AnswerView source ↗

The
answer is clearly no. She held a minor shareholding, which, I might add, she
donated to Leprosy Mission Australia.
Mr D.T. Redman : But when
asked the question in the other place, she didn't fully disclose,
Premier.
Mr M. McGOWAN : Hold on! The
member is the one running the muck.
She donated some shares to the
leprosy society prior to becoming a minister. She never held a position or held
shares in Carnegie. What is the issue? Honestly, it is a bizarre story and a bizarre
line of questioning.
